Free as a Bird on Crumb Cake
Hey crafters,
I am in love with today's card. I started with an idea from Pinterest by Ann Craig. I loved how she stamped the birds on Crumb Cake cardstock, so I took that idea and the basic layout and ran with it.
The Petal Pink paper with the polka dots is from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. I used various Stampin' Blends to color in the birds. When we first were trained with Stampin' Blends, we were told to use the Memento Pad because it's water based and wouldn't run. Then I realized that our regular Stampin' Pads are also water based. So I used Soft Suede ink on this card for a softer look.
One of my favorite parts is the Woven Threads Trim. You can see how it comes off the roll in the picture, but just snip that thread at the top and pull and you have tassles!
