Hi friends,

Today I'm sharing a card I recently made for our Friday Night Stamping competition. If you follow me on Facebook, you're probably familiar with it. StamperMan Russ (my husband) and I have been stamping most Friday nights for over a year now, and last spring we launched a friendly weekly competition. We each make a card, then I post them on the StamperNan Facebook page without saying which of us made which. We take votes for a couple of days & declare a winner. It's a fun thing that keeps us stamping and is a great stress relief at the end of the week.

So I made this card two weeks ago using our Sailing Home stamp set and coordinating dies.

First of all, this card was inspired by this picture in our weekly email demonstrators got from Stampin' Up!

How fun is this? I used the same basic colors and the measurements. I didn't have patterned paper for the background, so I made a stencil with the anchor die and sponged it repeatedly on the card base. Super simple and fun. I really love a bright red with a pale blue.
