Thumping Technique Continued

Today I’m sharing a few more cards made with the Thumping Technique. First up is the Lovely As a Tree stamp set. This tree is one of my favorite stamps to use for this technique – making vibrant fall-colored trees and beautiful spring trees bright with pinks and greens and purples. This one was inked up with Pear Pizzazz ink, then I colored the trunk with a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write marker.  The thumping was done with the brush tip of Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write markers.

Next up is Dragonfly Dreams. The detailed dragonfly image is stamped with Basic Gray, which is my go-to alternative when I want something softer than black. The solid fill in image for the wings was inked with Pool Party and then “thumped” with Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral.

And lastly, I’ve got a card using some of our newer products. The Butterfly Gala stamp set from the Occasions catalog is paired with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper from our Sale-a-bration promotion. The stamp set is available as a bundle with the Butterfly Duet punch, and they’re so popular that they’re on backorder right now! But they’ll be available again soon. The paper is available for FREE with a $50 purchase (until March 31 or while supplies last).

Our Stampin’ Write markers are available in assortments of 10 markers per color family (or packs of 5 for our In Color groups). I’ve supplied links to the main products used on today’s projects, so pick some up and try the thumping technique soon!

Until next time...happy crafting,

StamperNan
