Stamper Man Blog Post

Hi everyone! It’s Russ, StamperNan’s stamper-man. I’m taking over Nan’s blog today to tell you about my experience at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Orlando. At first, I was a nervous mess. But I quickly got into a groove and joined the party. It’s an amazing event that focuses on new product demonstrations, business training, and idea sharing with other stampers. I know what you’re thinking; “you must have been the only man in the building!” There were a few others, and we were all welcomed with open arms and smiles.

I even made my own swaps,

and I was shocked at the response I received. It was an exciting event to attend! The energy in the room was undeniable. Even as an amateur stamper (I’ve really only made one card on my own),

I was charged up and wanted to get into the “club!”

So why am I writing on the StamperNan blog? Several reason’s really. This company, Stampin’ Up!, gets it! They know how to help you in whatever path you want to take. If you are a hobbyist and join for the discount, that’s great! If you want to make this a money-making opportunity, they are there to help you with whatever assistance you need. Secondly, I have to confess that I loved the three days I spent at this event. I’m exhausted from the amount of energy I expelled while participating. I made my own make-and-takes, I attended the general sessions, and danced with 6,000 people at the Friday evening Stamp Night!  I’m energized and now have a new understanding and thorough appreciation for Stampin’ Up! as a hobby and business. I’m all in!! I’m going to start working with Nan to grow her team and really take advantage of the potential this opportunity has to offer.

I’m at the airport right now getting ready to head home. And I have to tell you I can’t wait to get home and start creating with the stamp sets I won during the OnStage general sessions!! I have a great teacher in my house, so I’m counting on some solid coaching. Come to the Nan’s next stamp night (Monday, November 26), and I’ll show you my cards!

One last thing. If you’ve ever thought you weren’t creative enough or talented enough to be a stamper, just relax and give it a shot. It’s just stamps, ink, and paper. It doesn’t have to be anything more if you don’t want. And if you have ever considered selling Stampin’ Up! and making it a business, talk to Nan soon! There are some great incentives on the horizon, and she will make it easy for you to join.

Thanks for indulging my rant! And come over and stamp with us!!
